The Fastest Train In The World

Sometimes to move forward you need to go backwards. In today's fast paced society where you need things done right now speed is the key. The faster you can get things done the better. That's why we've moved from sending to mail to instant messaging over the internet, and from trains to jets. For decades now jet planes have enabled people to get from one place to another faster.

But with new discoveries we can take old tech and make it new tech. And that's what many countries have been working on. Thanks to advancements in electromagnetic tech we are now able to make trains that move near the speed of a jet. And with further testing trains will soon go much faster than the fastest jet.

Currently the world's fastest train is the JR-Maglev train in Japan. It uses magnetic levitation combined with electromagnetic propulsion to move the train with no track friction, which enables the train to move at high speeds. The average speed for one of these types of trains is 300+ kmh. The Maglev train in Germany reaches speeds of over 400 kmh. But recently the Maglev train in Japan reached a record breaking speed of 581 kmh.

Other countries like China have beaten Japan to move from the testing stage to the public use stage, but like the saying goes "Better things come to those who wait." The World's Largest Pizza

The worlds largest pizza was created on December 8, 1990 at the Pick ‘n Play hypermarket in Johannesburg, South Africa. The "In your face starving people!" pizza measured 122 feet and 8 inches in diameter. It took 500 kg of flour, 800 kg of cheese and 900 kg of tomato puree. Huh? The biggest pizza was a cheese pizza? Suck Town. It was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records, and still holds the Pizza World Record.

World's Most Expensive Purse

Mouawad's "1001 Nights Diamond Purse" displayed at the Doha Jewelery and Watches Exhibition on Feb. 20, has set a record as the world's most expensive handbag.

The House Of Mouawad have created the "1001 Nights" diamond purse. Handcrafted from 18KT gold, with 4,517 diamonds at a total carat weight of 381.92 this purse took 10 artisans 1,100 hours to construct. Dubai based designer Mouawad is also known for his diamond bra he created for Victoria's Secret.

As a dude I don't like to be near purses. I won't even carry one of those "man purses" or any type of bag. Of course I hold my wife's purse when she needs me to out of politeness. I still don't like it though. My rule is if it doesn't fit into my pockets then I don't need to bring it with me. However at the cost of $3.8 million I would carry this thing with me everywhere. I'm not letting it out of my site.
