Seriously though, whatever happened to common sense? Its seems it's been replaced by pieces of paper that say "Congratulations: You memorized enough to pass our test." (old hippy hands you a degree).
There use to be a time that you could make up for not having a college education with some good old fashioned common sense. If you just use your head you can figure anything out. Just stop and think. Does that sound like a good idea? Should I stick my finger in that electrical socket? Hm. If only I had gone to college. *ZAP
I'm seeing the loss of common sense more and more everywhere. People following advice from people just because of their titles "Oh he's a doctor, of course I let him touch my boobs to find out why my ankles are hurting me." Genius. Or people doing drugs even though it's been proven over and over that it either kills you or makes you as good as dead "Oh they said it's not bad for you." Who you idiot? The people that want you to buy it that's who. People hating a politician just because someone else said they're bad, without really knowing anything about them.
Speaking of politician hate. A couple of years ago everyone in the media, and internet were seriously hating on George W. Bush, and the republicans. you couldn't find anyone brave enough (or stupid depending on your position), to stand up for the guy. And now with Obama in office everyone is hating on Obama and the democrats. You won't find many people taking up for them. And I realized these are the very same people. Why? Do you just hate everyone? Or is it because someone on the net or MSNBC told you to hate them?
Common Sense....common sense....where are you?
